Jaguar Baseball Supports The Carson Hawks Foundation for Dental Health

Jaguar Baseball Senior First Baseman Carson Hawks - Before and After His Surgery

Jaguar Baseball player Carson Hawks is one of the "1 in every 8,000 children" born with Dentinogenesis Imperfecta (DI), a genetic disorder that affects the development of their teeth. In Carson's case it happens to be the most rare and severe form. Many of these children need some type of dental prosthetic, and the restoration process requires multi-disciplinary dental teams.

When the treatment gets down to the final mile and the child needs implants or dentures, dental insurance does not have a code for the medical condition, so medical insurance calls it a cosmetic procedure and families are often left with devastating options: enter into overwhelming debt or left unable to help their child overcome the ailment.

We started our journey to help Carson in 2017. The foundation is committed to helping children with DI and other developmental defects of the teeth for generations to come.

Please support the Carson Hawks Foundation and help bring smiles back to children with this dental condition. Click the link below to show your support!

Signees include both pitchers and position players listed here:

National Signing Day is an exciting time for our school, our baseball program and for our community and we are extremely proud of these seniors. We look forward to the upcoming season and the great things ahead for each player as they bring their best talents to The Mound.

As you see these young men both on and off the field, please extend your congratulations and wish them well in both the upcoming season as well as their future with their respective collegiate programs.
