Head Varsity Coach / Pitchers / Catchers

Coach Amrine graduated from Aledo High School and Hardin Simmons University. His coaching career consists of 2 years at the collegiate level (Hardin Simmons University) and 6 years at the high school level. His high school stops include New Caney High School, Seguin High School and Flower Mound High School (twice).

He will work with the Pitchers and Catchers at Flower Mound. Coach Amrine is married to his beautiful wife Rachel and they have two wonderful little boys: Bryson (5) and Brock (3). 

A new beginning is being established at Flower Mound. We will work diligently to help young men achieve their maximum potential as both a student and an athlete.

Varsity Assistant / Hitters / Infielders

Coach Whitaker is in his 2nd season with the Flower Mound Jaguar baseball program. He is the Varsity Assistant coach and works with the hitters and the infielders. Coach Whitaker is a 2001 graduate of Odessa Permian High School where he lettered in baseball, basketball, track and football. He received a scholarship to play baseball at the University of Texas at Arlington and later transferred to Texas A&M University where he earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.S. in Management Information Systems in 2005. He has previously coached at Creekview High School and Edward S. Marcus High School. In addition to his baseball coaching role, Coach Whitaker is the Varsity football wide receivers coach and he teaches Web Mastering. He is married to his lovely wife Meredith.

Assistant Baseball Coach

Coach Fuel's love of sports is evidenced both by his athletic experience and over 38 years of coaching. He has coached various high school and college teams, including baseball, football, track, wrestling, softball and basketball, with World Series, State and District Championships. 

His athletic career began in high school where he played basketball, baseball and football. After high school, The Kansas City Steers Semi-Pro Football Team saw Eldon as cornerback before he attended Johnson County Kansas Community College and University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Coach Fuel coached at Edward S Marcus High School before coming to Flower Mound High School to coach football and baseball.  He faces his son, Coach Josh Fuel, who coaches Marcus baseball and football.  Not sure where to sit at ballgames are his wife of over 30 years, Joyce, Shadow Ridge Middle School teacher, and son and daughter, Nick and Hillary.  Coach Fuel is also proud of his son Colin, currently serving our country in Iraq.

Head JV coach/Varsity Outfielders

I am in my first year at Flower Mound. This is my 4th year to coach after spending the first three years at Clyde High School with the last being as the Head Baseball coach. I graduated in 2001 from Abilene High School lettering in golf and baseball. I was recruited to play baseball at Southwestern University but ended up having career ending Tommy John surgery my freshman year. I received a B.A. in mathematics. This past summer, I got married to my lovely wife Jennifer. I also have an awesome Lab/Bulldog mix named Wrigley (yes, after Wrigley Field).
